Scholarship Information
Scholarship awards are made for one year only and are distributed by September 15 of each year. Selection of scholarship recipients is done by a selection committee designated by the NHLF Board of Trustees. Major or program focus must be concentrated in the hotel, hospitality, or tourism industry degree, diploma or certificate. Note: Scholarship funding is provided to the educational entity on behalf of the student applicant being granted the award.
Recipients will be required to participate in the NHLF established mentor program to ensure goals and objectives are met for all parties.
When to Apply
Applications will be reviewed in August with selected grant recipients being notified by early September.
Application submissions will open July 5 and run through August 27, 2027 for eligible candidates. Scholarship application submission will close at 5:00 p.m. PDT on August 27.
